We don't burn spots.
Log a fish and it is yours alone. Cast Depot never asks for a pin or a set of coordinates, and a logged catch is never plotted on any public map. Describe your spot however you like, or not at all.
The map you can see is built from the public waters atlas. It has no idea where anybody caught anything. That is written into the code as a hard rule, not a setting somebody can flip later.

Every one of them read off the state's own published list rather than copied from somewhere else, and split the way the state actually splits them, by water, by method, and by angler class. So the fish you are holding is measured against the right record instead of the nearest one. More states are loading.
